Engine power & speed for IVA Application

It would help if you knew compression ratio, too, but I got this from a VW forum for type 2 stuff.  I don't know how specific the info/spec must be for the IVA folks, but here are the details and a chart for a reasonably built engine.  Your engine, with dual carbs, should be another 15-ish HP over this:

New 1776 dual port, single 34 PICT-3, 28mm venturi, CB2239 cam, 1.25 rockers on intakes, CB center section, AA500 heads by Torben Alstrup, Ahnendorp exhaust.

79 bhp at 4500 RPM, 143NM at 2500 RPM. Nice flat curves. Still a bit rich.

Red curve is without the stock oil bath air cleaner. Much better air/fuel ratio.

Just found this. Oil pressure 52psi. Compression ratio, cyl 1,2,3 & 4 is 14.5.

14.5 bar, correct? That's over 200 psi. That would be too much.

Hi Danny, the figures aren't particularly clear, but the figures 145 it doesn't say psi, and I can't see a decimal point, it just says 145, not sure if that helps.
