IMO turbos are a PITA for a street type 1 small displacement engine. A good turbo setup is expensive and on a small engine will probably have a lot of lag time to spool up and will have to run high RPM to make much power. A large displacement normally aspirated type 1 engine will have more torque and BHP in the low end and mid-range and much better street manners.
If you want the whole enchilada get Pat Downs at CB Perf. to build you a mild-mannered 250 BHP turbo 2,110cc street motor with their "hide-away" turbo setup.
What is your carburation? If it's a dual set up, consider a 1914. If you just want basic motivation, yes the 1641 is a common setup. About turbos, that's a $2,200 upgrade.
