I didn't want to further drift/pollute Lane's coupe thread, so.....
Nothing like a flat 6 at full song.
Enjoy!

Music to my ears, Danny boy...and such a familiar song.
I can't do that embedding stuff either.
Not a flat six, but this car makes some glorious sounds.
I like this Porsche clip - you can hear engine at point of the rev cut off too. Plus you get to see German country side!
That's a great sound, Carlos. I always liked the first gen Z. Kind of similar to the first gen 911. Every revision after muddled it up and made them less pure and heavier.
BTW, the stock Cayman S exhaust sounds really good, but could be just a tiny bit louder. It's a good compromise for long trips though. If I want more noise, I just open the windows.
Here ya go, Danny! @DannyP

And here is one third of a Ferrari engine.
Maybe now is the time to put in a plug for SoundRacer. I have the V8 version for my Speedster.

Hahaha I've seen that before. That's awesome. I want to get one for the shop van.
It'll make you thrash your DD everywhere you go, just to hear it.
Reminds me of this movie
That tail flip at 1:16 was pretty cool. Schenley?
I'm gonna need a minute... and a kleenex... maybe a glass of wine and a cigarette...

My 2L Sprint Veloce w/Ansa dual tip sounds pretty much like that, only an octave lower.
Love those cars. I almost bought an Alfetta a while back. During high school in Germany, a couple of my friends had Suds and one had a Sprint. Fun times.
Marty, a long time ago, there was a lady here in New England who autocrossed a similar Alpha that, I think, was an Abarth(?). Had the same "always running rich" sound (because it was always running rich) and a rappy exhaust (from always running rich).
It must have had a pretty low torque band because she never seemed to get out of 2'nd and had her foot stuck in it most of the time. It really scooted and sounded Glorious!
IIRC, she was a large animal vet from New Hampshire and autocrossed her Abarth to "flush out her head" as she put it. That engine note would certainly do it! Thanks for posting that. Brought back some fun memories from long ago....
