I purchased the VW bus engine tin seal as suggested. One problem with the install. The foam is about 2 inches from the mufflers. Anyone know the temp rating of this stuff?

Not sure of the temp rating, there is differences on either side of the engine seal surfaces, the "harder" side faces the exhaust. The one I have on the Raby Type IV is also close to the exhaust and shows no heat problems

Thanks for the offer, I had the flap seam added that reduces the overall flap width and what a difference!
