hi,my kit is a banham, english firm now gone bust, they made a few different kits using rover donor cars, mine is a speedster placed over a rover metro floorpan and running gear, ive only seen 3 banham speedsters, on ebay, so not many around .Engine in the front,transverse,1.4mpi engine, not the quickest only producing about 70bhp,but putting a 1800 vvc lump in next year, producing about 160 bhp lowering the suspension all round,5 speed gearbox, should do the job.the suspension is hydrolastic, but can be modified with different pressures for a firmer ride, what kind of power do you guys run,the chisel kit is the most popular over here, love to see you,re pics regards mark

I would say 'Welcome to the Madness" but it seems you are already there.... That 1800 sounds like it should deliver a blast..... Good luck with the project...
Now that is different! I've never seen one. Where is radiator - in one of the wheel well or up in nose on an angle. Is it front wheel drive? EdNova was wondering how it fit - answer is just. He was probably thinking it still had a VW pan with H front beam. I'd leave current engine and add a turbo. Running the exhaust will be fun. Can you run down one side rocker panel and exit before rear wheel? Or Cobra style side pipes. Assume gas tank is behind rear seat? I've got some Wellington blood - when I read title I translated to "Limey bloke with snaps".
What I want to do is park your car and my car together at this Lime Rock thing in a few weeks.
--stay with me for this, it's good--
So I'm told that the Porsche Corral at Lime Rock is adjacent to the British car corral, and what I picture is your car and my car both right near the edge, between them. Doesn't really matter which one is on which side of the line, now, does it?
And we make a couple big poster signs that say
THE MISSING LINK
Open our respective hoods, et voila!
Mark,
Your progress looks great. I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but I think you have the manual backwards and upside down. You've gone and put the steering wheel on the wrong side. Not only that, but the motor belongs in back.
Looks great,
Ted
wow...............I was wondering if this was possible.........clearly it is........
what does the floor, pan look like? Any special bracing needed?
WOW, I didn't think it was possible, but if you can stuff a V8 in the front of a Beetle.....
