Enjoying the last few days.

The winter is about to crash down here in Chicago, so I just wanted to share a couple of photos before the car goes down for a winter nap.

Man this is the main reason I like staying down in South Africa. Even in the middle of winter, you can pop in the speedie and have a quick drive.

Too bad the warm weather doesn't stick around longer here in Chicago. My car is already tucked away for the winter. Now it's time to work on my next project.

Marty, your photos are really nice. Your background I thought looked a little like the area in or around the Morton Arboretum. Where in the greater Chicagoland area do you reside?

This is Wayne IL. One of the last small towns around Chicago land. Wayne is an unincorporated village with about 1800 people. Large lots, any many horse properties. There is also a famous piece of property called Dunham Castle. The Dunham family owned most of the property in and around this beautiful area.

By the way, I live in the town next door. Also nice but not quite like Wayne. Here is another picture at Pratt Wayne Forest preserve in Wayne.

Nice pics! Spring is just around the corner! Having been born in Michigan, I know that can be a long, dreary time. Nice car though.
