wow...20k and it needs a bit of tidying. Mine is in far better condition and at auction 2 years ago couldn't get over 23k so I kept it.

I'd guess that the cheapest/best way would be to put it onto one of the ferries to Seattle. Doable in winter, quick and reliable so long as the car is secured well enough to still be aboard following the ten hour trip across Queen Charlotte Sound. Sometimes heavy seas make for a wild ride on the flat-bottomed ferry boats.
Lot of european interest in these cars. Probably due to the fact they were sold new in porsche dealers in germany and all the original 356s rotted to hell. Carey did u pick it up?
I just sent a message off to the seller to see if the new owner would contact the SOC. Guess we'll have to see what comes of the request.
We ferry goods from Seattle to Anchorage all the time. For this, it would be fun to wait until summer and just drive it the long way home.
