Chuck, if memory seves me right it didn't sell the first time at 20k. Upon relisting the high bid was 16K and change.

I don't know what the final price was. It was sold to a Dennis Jack Linkletter in California.

I think it went for $18,000, probably because it then had a hefty shipping price to SoCal. Shipping was the drawback on that car. The buyer did have a post on the Envemo Facebook page.

Chuck, if that deal comes together for you, I would be interested in talking to you about your 912.

Thanks everyone. Spoke with both John @ JPS and Kevin Hines. Kevin was a real store house of information on the Envemo's, he was there at the beginging in Brazil.

A great guy, gave freely of his time and information even though I was not one of his customers. He also stocks some unique parts for the Envemo.

Tom, I'll keep that in mind.

Both Kevin and Carey Hines are aces, period. They are the definition of good people and good customer service. I have also talked with Kevin at length, and he is just amazing. I wish everyone was a customer service oriented as them!

The customs guy I had greased to let me bring the Envemo into Indonesia has been fired or possibly arrested for some under the table shenanigans.  The guy who replaced him wants too much to bring it in..

I have listed the Anchorage car on Ebay.. I will probably sell it for the 18k I bought it for plus the $1900 shipping cost. I sent it in a closed container.  It's now in LA.

I have it at $24,000 make offer.. just fishing a bit, never know..
