i lived in rocklin, now live in placerville. there are some sacto boys in the area, we get together once in awhile.
Looks like it's a reseller of Vintage Speedsters. I see that Desi's Tufftub is in their inventory.

I agree with Terry - the Speedster shown in the link is a Vintage Speedster replica.
Always a better idea (and cheaper) to deal direct with the manufacturer - in this case, Kirk at Vintage. He can build you one exactly the way you want it.

How is the quality of the VS build? Comparable to Beck? Seems, from what I can gather from various posts, that Intermeccania is the forerunner with their rol-up windows etc.?

Most of what they sell are older Porsches, but they seem to have a VS Speedster replica in stock most of the time. We bought a 1984 Targa from them last year. The Targa had 19,731 original miles and was like driving the car off the showroom floor in 1984.

I know the area well, Scott, I've done a lot of work in Clos Du Lac and Monte Sereno.
I all depends on what you want and how much you want to spend. Vintage builds a very nice car for the money. Beck also does a great job and Carey is a real stand-up guy. In my opinion I think IM is the best you can get and Henry Reisner is a master builder. His cars are worth every penny if you can afford it. but I'm really enjoying my JPS, especially with the reworked engine and the Berg five-speed.
Have you driven a speedster replica before? If not maybe we can hook up and you can try mine.

Sounds like a plan, would love to check out tour ride. Sounds like it's set up very close to what I would like to find.
The IM is very attractive having the roll-up windows, but i don't know how likely it is to find a slightly used one, set up correctly, in acceptable color combo, in CA, in acceptable amount of time, etc...
Could have the perfect one built, but the wait would kill me!
Oh well, this is all part of the learning and acquisition process and the fun in getting there.
