reminds me of Vapoorize from the movie: Envy
Another easy way to remove rust is with washing soda ( not baking soda ) , water, a pail, a battery charger and one sacrificial anode ( steel bar ) . Cheap, no toxic fumes and eco friendly. It works.
I have been doing some reading and it has good reviews and even Princess Auto has it at a very reasonable price David. I am going to venture out and try it.
Seems like something that you could use to stop any rusting and then easily touch things up. It's an eternal fight glad the car is Glass...
I tried using vinegar and Washing soda is more alkaline (basic PH 11 ) than baking soda (Ph 8.1). While they work, in either case they etch the stuff I find, so for more sensitive stuff this chelating agent looks like it can get the stuff done without damaging the part and it won't damage rubber or nearly anything. I will report back when I test it.
I've always gotten good results with Naval Jelly.
All phosphoric acid products work but somethings acid etching may damage the part this seems like a different product so I am testing it out.
