On another thread I noticed that you mentioned staying in Santa Monica.  When you're in socal you can usually just get Jim and others together for an impromptu dinner and cruise.  I usually try to do that when I'm out there on business.  I don't know of enough members near Las Vegas for an event there, and as Jim said, it's a several hour drive between the two places.

yes I will start up a phone or email link and catch up. Sounds a great idea. It would be good to meet a few of the speedster owners over there.

i have other different cars and often catch up with Cobra and Mustang owners.

I am still lurking around over on the Cobra site. I have a aluminium bare body with a 468 Shelby block. So keep heading off to car events after car events.

the speedster came my way and I just wanted it. I am loving driving it. Compared to the GT40 it is so quite and comfortable..

I have been looking at the Google images and Carlisle. Looks like a great event.

I am in the UK and heading to France in May and June. For the Tour De France etc.

my wife and I will be in Cornwall UK on the weekend - just checked her itenary.

we have a UK television program her called "The Hotel Inspector" and the hosts mother has the Hotel Tresanton in this region. She who must be obeyed has me touring the coastal regions.....
