A1 sidewinder?
Type 1 motor?
if the answer is yes and yes, then i believe Tiger has adjusted the original design to allow valve adjustment without taking the muffler off.
Just got an email back from Vintage...they said I will NOT have to remove the exhaust for this. I do believe it is the A1 Sidewinder but awaiting confirmation...

Let me rephrase that...I am not sure if it is sidewinder. The final pipe comes out of the middle of the back of car...

The way everything is tucked up underneath and the tubing merges into the collector sideways... that's a sidewinder.
Do they make an extension that will connect to my Sidewinder exhaust to bring the pipe out as a center exit? Mine has a drop tube now from the muffler.

I am not sure...good question though.
What does your sound like? Is it loud?
It's got kinda of a soft rumble to it. I just like the looks of the center exhaust.
One alternative would be to take it to a muffler shop and get them to bend and weld on a piece.
Tiger offers three different add on's. The middle single. a twin factory pipe and the side out kit Mine on the beetle got tore up but i saved it and intend to repair it They are over a $1,000.oo now
Todd, do a You Tube search for "A-1 sidewinder", there's a variety of applications there that might give you a "feel for the sound".
Here's one of the more intriguing versions (not A-1 sidewinder): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixyrr8-Myoo
When I got my Sidewinder center exit, this version required the muffler to be more vertical, requiring removal for valve adjustment.
The version that exits down on the side right behind the muffler allows the muffler to be more flat, allowing it to remain in place for valve adjustment.
Yes on both of mine you can pull the valve cover. Who makes that twin exhaust i saw here a few weeks ago i was thinking of giveing it a try on my next project
It only takes a moment to pull the muffler. I guess I don't see what the problem is.
