Here's some pics of a couple of exhaust options on my car. I have Bursch headers that are two piece.
With the short piece out the 911R megaphones bolt on. I installed 4 inch Harley baffles in them and that does cut the sound down so it does not hurt your ears but they still are very deep and loud.
The other is with the collector from a 916 that bolts to a Supertrap unit. I fit a stainless shield that I made up to the front of the silencer as the gravel on the roads here was blasting the paint off and starting the unit to rust. This silencer has a higher sound...almost a whine at top RPM. The sound is also raspy going through the discs of the Supertrap.
