Looks to me like a Streetbeast kit. Unless you are multi talented in fabrication,welding,engineering,run don't walk away from this kit.
Not for the novice builder,and a challenge for the very experienced builder!

I emailed him about selling the body (chassis looks like it was glassed on) separately and keeping the extras to sell to someone with a Speedster project. I figure that most of the goodies and such would fit another car.

I'd REALLY ( ! ! ! ! ! ! ) like that body for a flip up tube chassis "Funny Car" style drag car. Re-glass in the doors and light openings, chop away the interior panels, fashion a fiberglass tonneau cover for the rear and passenger sections, and it's nearly ready for paint. Sell the Beetle drag car to help finance the build.

TC - Like Allan said it looks like a StreetBeast which doesn't use the T1 pan --- but does use the front beam pieces and the trailing arms. I suspect its std Speedster length vice extended. All we need is a Speedster with third row seating!

Perhaps this individual needs a good welder?
