Oh, ok. So the lowered shocks did work for your suspension but you didn't need them. I only asked because I have a CMC wide-body with lowered/adjustable beam but have stock length shocks. Wondered if the lowered shocks actually work for our CMC's?

I have a lowered/cut and welded beam CMC also and the lowered shocks work very well.  Standard length shocks will bottom out and you'll be left with basically no suspension travel in the front.  If you try to bounce your front end with 114940standard shocks it'll most likely feel very stiff. These will most likely give you some travel and soften things up a bit.  Short money for the difference....

Frank, thanks for the info. I bought the CMC recently with new Monroe shocks installed in by the PO. It looks like I also have the cut and welded beam with adjusters. Do I need an alignment after going to lowered shocks?
