Joe Fortino and I arranged to meet Sunday morning for a Speedster Drive. We met at 830 AM.... The Sun was up and bright! But it was a BRISK 43 degrees F. The original plan was to drive to the Illinois river (40 min) and then stop for coffee & breakfast. We stpped after 15 minutes at a decent looking cafe and let the sun warm the earth a little bit more.

It was much more pleasant outside after breakfast... But still hat and glove weather!
We drove through some small towns and ended up at Starved Rock state park. Fall colors were beautiful!
The drive back was a bit faster than the drive there. My 77' IM speedster could sorta keep up with Joes Beck.
Drove about 100 fun miles. no problems or issues.
Really a fun Sunday morning and it was nice to meet Joe.

Looks look you guys had a good ride. I could not join becuase Sandy's gets Vertigo really bad and this unforntualy is the season for it. Next time!
Marty, I'd get dizzy too if I had to hang with you and those two boys for very long...

What a great time yesterday; good roads, clear skies and a new friend to cruise with. Not only that Chris has one hell of a garage (pole barn).
