We had a nice weekend with several other classic cars from Chicago.  The Group got separated much of the time but we all had printed maps and caught up at lunch and diner spots.  The Cafe Macchiato racked up 400 miles this week end.  This group which calls themselves Feulfed must be a bunch of retired race car drivers or at a minimum semi-pro rally drivers because they really "drove it like they stole it".

We ran with a bunch of cool cars.

68 Porsche 912

64 Porsche 356C

88 Porsche 930 Cab

Here is a video that Sandy put together.  Maybe some of the Local SOC gang can join us in the future.     Sandy's camera started to flip out about the 8:11 mark on the video (started to pause and wiggle) but I hope you enjoy.

Not sure how to insert Vimeo into page?

Great video and a terriffic cruise with a lot of really fine cars.  No doubt that your IM got more attention than anything else there!

Looks like winter is coming soon up there.  Most of the leaves are off the trees and lots of warm coats.  Nice to have that great Suby heater wasn't it?

Thanks a lot for sharing this event with us!

Rich, would like to see the Lancia pictures.

Marty, I used to travel to Oklahoma City twice a year when I worked for the FAA, usually drove Route 66 in my then daily driver Audi TT Conv. Stopped at the Nat'l Route 66 museum and parked under the sign and took a picture of the car, heard alot of comotion behind me couldn't figure out what it was. Turned around to see a bunch of Japenese tourists decked out in leather chaps, jackets etc. etc. riding Harley's. It turned out that they had rented Harley's to ride the "Mother Road" and wanted me to take their group picture, also once met a group of Corvette lovers in rented Corvettes from Norway. Such is the universal appeal of the "Mother Road" !
