Fan Belt?

My alternator pully is 4"
The power pully is 7" O.D....6 1/2 I.D.

For my 'Road Emergency Kit' do I need a 10X630 fan belt or a 10X645 ?

I wanted to suggest that you see if you cvan read anything from the belt that's on there now.

Good luck with it and you are smart to want a spare on board.

Anyway--I hope you nail down that alt belt size. Seems that there are quite a few different sizes used.

Why would you need extra shims for the alternator pulley? All 8-10 should always be used to keep the stack the same height and should be either between the pulley halves or behind the nut & washer.

Justin.....At some point you might need those "extra" shims if you replace a pulley in the boonies..... Been there, done that!

Don't forget the blue painters tape...and a spare ignition key!!
The hubcap puller can be fashioned from a wire coat hanger.
And don't forget the flask of Jack Daniels!!

If you have an alternator 11.3x912 is the correct belt

11.3 X 912 it is!! Stamped right on the belt (if I'd only looked)
