When I was at the NHRA New England Summer Nationals last weekend, I stopped by the booth of "Home Pro Fasteners". They had an extensive array of fasteners, both English and Metric, Zinc and Stainless (the Stainless stuff caught my eye), Socket or button head cap screws/bolts, machine and sheet metal screws (in zinc and stainless), along with electrical and vacuum connectors of all the popular types, Looming materials and clamps, Rivets (aluminum and plastic), Emblem/barrell nuts, trim/finishing hardware and lots more. Everything top quality

Their web site is www.homeprofasteners.com/ but the site leaves something to be desired for navigation. The brochure I have shows a LOT of stuff that I haven't yet found on their web site, so either I'm slow on the uptake or their site is....don't know. Either way, their "hot line" is (888) 727-7262 so call and ask for stuff - they seem to stock a pretty wide range of automotive stuff, and they've been around since 1963.

Much of what they offer is in assortments contained in metal storage drawers, so you might get an assortment of, say, stainless hex head bolts in various sizes, just like in the better hardware stores, only you'll have it on hand in your shop.

I've used a LOT of stainless hardware, both on Pearl and on my boats, and the pricing from Home Pro is VERY good, even throwing in shipping costs. They also offer a "club membership" that gives you 10% off all assortments and 15% off all refills (makes a good deal even better!)

If you're tired of forever running to your local "ACE" hardware store or Home Depot or Lowe's whenever you're in the middle of a project and can't find the fastener you want, then Check 'em out!

'Bout 30% - 40% lower in bulk.....more if you buy smaller quantities.

BTW: Here in the Micro State (currently half under water from Hurricane Cindy passing through) just about everyone I know buys their SS, Brass and Bronze boat hardware from Jamestown Distributors in Bristol....

www.jamestowndistributors.com

(MUCHO easier to navigate their site, too!)

Home Pro compares very favorably with Jamestown on prices, but have much more of an automotive line of stock.

Either Home Pro or Jamestown (which I've dealt with a lot, since I can drive there in 15 minutes) ships the same day world wide.
