I am finally through making my engine look like a 356 engine.
I built it out to a 1835 engine with cb weber venturi upgrade and added 2.25" velocity stacks...
It sounds great, and is about as powerful as I am going to get without making it a stroker.  Really fun to drive - very reminiscent of the various 356s I grew up with - only more power. Just right for a traditional style  roadster.

Thanks guys. (Ed you were an inspiration.) I could keep going with the corrugated breather tube, etc... but enough  is enough.

Here are a couple more photos : before, after ,and a real one (red car).

(The"before" photo is actually after I rebuilt it and reworked the engine compartment ...  It was really a sad little neglected car when I got it.)
