I thought that car crashed through the glass garage and landed down the hill......
If I remember correctly, we didn't really see it crash. We did see it smash through the glass wall, and the next scene showed it lying in a broken, smoldering heap at the bottom of a ravine. I take it the smoldering heap at the bottom of the ravine was not the replica?

Those cars are just "Dead Sexy" IMHO......:-)
That Bonham's car is reported to be one of two built for the movie, the other one was the car that got wrecked at the end. I belive those cars were based on Vette mechanicals whereas it looks like the Ebay car for $179K has Ford mechanicals. Then there's the reproductions that are based on Ferrari mechanicals like the 4 seater 250 GTE/330 GTs...they are usually up into the mid-six figures.
