Not only that, but the engine is a close duplicate of mine, built by me and Peter. It had 44mm EMPI-Webers, whereas my engine has Dell 40's. Pretty much everything inside of the engine is CB Performance, including the new case.

The transmission is a Sam-built, Rancho Transaxle with a 3:88 Super-diff and my choice of ratios for 1-4 for that diff ratio (.89 4'th) 1 - 4 gear spacing feels very nice and 1'st feels "right" and not a stump-puller. The transaxle was bought last winter, installed late last Summer and has about 100 miles on it, and the engine has maybe 2,500 miles.

You can find more info and the "before" shots in the ad I ran on here last December or so. Peter is currently undergoing stem cell treatment for cancer and won't be needing a Speedster for quite a while - That's why he sold it and Alan's Paint guy bought it and here it is, all pretty again - probably better than ever!
