I've run an SOC Search on Fiberfab International (which I know nothing about) without finding information on who they are, or who they were.  I don't recall anybody discussing them pro and con as a manufacturer.

I sense that they produced a "KIT" and not a turn-key replica... and have simply faded from the scene. What's the history that I'm not aware of?

First thing CMC did was eliminate 90% of their product line.  Bud Goodwin was a real kit car guy.  CMC's Levine just a shyster. FF must have produced 30 different vehicles -- none too 40 hours to build though.  The original CMC mold came from IM (Calif) ---I've always thought FF was exact same body???  I love the Jamaican and Avenger GT12.  Just look at engine options too - alway up to big honking Detroit iron.

Any one look at the dark blue Avenger just behind Speedsters at Carlisle?  901 trans, Subbie 6 cylinder engine, and 944 alloy trailing arms and disc brakes.

The blue Avenger was nice but the red one really stood out in detail. How about the Red F40 replicas built on Fiero chassis--flying machines I bet

King Levine of CMC screwed over many thousands of people and in the "end "....

Levine got his when the Courts ordered that they create Auto Resolutions to fulfill tens of thousands of back ordered thousands of items. Oh boy did I ever make out quite well with that deal.........

So then Levine comes up with the idea to "replicate" that company with another company aka : Street Beasts Inc. which stupidly employed many of the same high pressure sales persons that were with his former cash melting pot. Street Beasts Inc. died and with some luck..... so did Levine.

Some leopards never change their spots.  Google George G. Levin Florida to see the latest string of Ponzi scams he is involved in.  Even when he's caught, the punishment and fines never seem substantial.  Naturally, he's still living large in a exclusive community in Florida.  Makes you hope there's something to this hereafter business after all.
