Hello Gang,

This one just hit the samba a few hours ago. Red FIberfab.   Based on what I'm seeing, it's a wee bit overpriced ($16,500 !?)

It's in need of some serious TLC (shabby dash, questionable interior, red paint over spray, all chrome blacked out, 1500cc motor, etc.)  Someone hit it with the big end of the ugly stick. Poor thing.

Maybe go in with a 11-12k offer and then slowly revive the ole girl?

looks like the ends of the bumper taper off down on an angle, the shape is good, looks like a good base to work from, bit of a blank canvas, if you wanted to see some prices that will make you wonder whether people drink when placing ads, then look no further at what happens in australia, Im sure they are nice cars, just not quite worth this much, in my personal opinion.

Exhibit B ( cars 1 and 3, 2 is an original )

The links take you to a screen that reads, "We currently have no cars matching your search.".

One the second one.  The first straight side shot,  the rear panel deck look like 356 C.  And the front wheel is centered in the wheel well!

Nice finish work!

Oh, et ooo, I just did the AUD to USD....oouch  $97.5 K   USD.  That's a new Boxster here, or a really cherry used 993.  Next

Are those cars priced in AUD or USD?  (I'll need to check the exchange rate...)

I will say that both of those cars have front bumpers that fit better than mine. I don't think my front bumper has that big flat lip on the top like those two examples. I've often wondered if my front bumper was on  upside down...
