Picked up my kit, and after a thorough inspection. I’m noticing that one of the cutouts for the front horn (off center 7/8”) and rear tail light (off 3/4”). This is going to drive me crazy, since the rest of the body, and shape is perfect. Has anybody had any success on fiberglass repair and re-cutting new holes? Is there anything that could post as a problem for the future or finished paint work?

I have been down this road a few times, proper prep, blending and the correct materials and allowing time for any chance shrinkage before paint is necessary. If you are not confident in doing it yourself it wouldn't cost a bundle to have it done . If your horn grills and signal lights fit the existing openings ...now is the time to trace a template.
Thank you. I did do a test fit and the taillights, and horn grills fit. Luckily, I do have one side that is good to go, so I will have a template. I’m thinking with such a minor relocation it can be blended it out pretty easily, and not pose an issue with finishing.
@Alan Merklin what do you think a proper cure time would be?
IM cures the body under UV lights but I have no clue for how long before they do the bodywork for it to settle down
Leaving the entire body out in the sun for a few months goes a long way in stabilizing the warps. .............Bruce
