William, it is unlawful for any merchant to bill your credit card prior to shipping the goods. Just keep an eye on your statement, even looking at it online.

In the event they do charge your account without shipping the goods, all that you need to do is send Fibersteel a written letter demanding that they recredit your account. If that fails, then when you get your statement, just send the card issuer a written letter disputing the charge, including a copy of the letter to Fibersteel. No problem. Your card issuer will then charge the amount back to Fibersteel. I used to be a corporate attorney, and have dealt with this on occasion.

Hello All,

Fibersteel is still in business. We have not had a chance to revisit production on the heater upgrade kits as our shop has been slammed with builds and orders. We get inundated with emails and the phone rings off the hook every day, and yes some times we get overwhelmed with responding. We fabricate every thing in-house and the list of products to produce is a quite deep. This is really not meant as an excuse, but more in hopes of an understanding of the intricacy of a couch business. Its very difficult to make everything for everyone all the time.

As far as our billing policy, we do not take deposits or bill anyone's credit cards until the product is packed and ready to ship. So to date there has been no charges for heater upgrade kits to anyone. I wanted to clarify that issue as I know not all venders follow our same integrity when it comes to taking money with no product delivered.

Last but not least, we apologize for any delays and want everyone one to know we do our best to provide the best service and products possible and our efforts are always moving forward towards that goal.

Sincerely,

Alex Salazar

chuck and steve i made it my self its to easy, on a vintage just disconect off the heat exchanger, and disconnect off the pvc pipe that runs along the rocker. beck will sell you the flex tubing, get about 5 feet. then just attach, the tubing is the same size as the pvc, so just figure up a connector for the two sizes. it sure flows more but i dont know yet if it will be warmer or not. if you need help call. bill
Steve.
Tons of discussion in this recent Technical General "My Heater Tubing Melted!" thread. If the link doesn'r work, just do a search for melted. https://www.speedsterowners.com/forum/readmsg.asp?t=23027

Here are my pictures from that thread. I bought the tubing from DC Thermal, but you might want to get a higher temp. rated hose from the other sources. In my case, it took a little over 3 feet per side.
