I've seen the slider & plexiglass windows listed on the Fibersteel Website for a year now, but they're still not in production. What gives? My Vintage with plex windows would be daily driveable, but if I can't get them Intermec and another pile of bills may be the only way to go. I live in chicago, i dont need a snowmobile, but to and from the train station in all weather and with "safe" visibility would be nice. I've emailed fibersteel, they only say not in production etc, etc. Does anyone know another source? I just want to drive my tub in the rain!

Hi Jason.
I also have looked for good set of side windows and have come up empty handed.

At one point I made a set of side windows for my car and they fit great, however far from watertight. I do have to say they worked well to keep some of the heat in the car.

As for driving in the rain nothing you do will keep the water out of the tub. But you can try to seal up every seam, every edge and you may get close however watertight in a strong rain will be hard to accomplish.

Best Regards.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm well aware that nothing will truly seal up a speedster aside from converting to one of henry's roadsters. I just want to be as safe & driveable as possible in my little car. Visibility is #1, a little sealing at the windshield certainly wouldnt hurt.
Mr DS, I've seen your windows on the forum and am plotting to mock up a set for my ride. Great looking car- is it still for sale?
Jason,

Know a neat guy that lives in Crete, IL, far south suburb that is an old car fan. He drives a Stutz to and from work. He is a drywaller, custom type stuff. Last time I saw him he was working downtown in the Loop rehabbing an old building and driving the Stutz each day. Not winter though due to the salt and tin worm. I'll remember his name one of these hours, if so I'll send it to you. We lived in Schaumburg, land of the Malls. We moved there when it was about 6000 population, think over 100,000 now, whew, outa there!
