The original fiberglass top for a speedster will fit.
Wickedly expensive (usually over $2K USD) but they fit and occasionally one turns up on the on-line auctions.

What about a fiberglass 60's style racing cowl with a backrest? I think Pelican sells one for stock 356 but will it fit a CMC Flared?

Just curious...what holds those hardtops down to the body ? They look like they'd be pretty easy to make.
David,
I believe there are a few options for mounting hardware. But I think that fitting a hardtop like these would take some patience and modifications as each body is going vary a little bit.

Windshield latches and bolts for soft top
I had one on a 67 Alfa Duetto I once owned. Same latches as the soft top on the front and then brackets with a spring/nut tensioning devices held the sides with attachment just behind the seats on either side. The Alfa was a bit different as there were two chrome pieces on the rear bodywork of the car behind the seats and both the hardtop and the soft top slid under these two. So you'd put the top on just aft of the two chrome brackets, slide it forward till the lip of the top slid under the chrome pieces, then attach the front latches and the side ones. I drove this car in rain, snow and sleet and was nice and cozy. Damn, wish I never let that one go.
