Johnson's floor wax - the paste version in a can. I also dip drill bits in it when drilling through carpeting to keep the bit from grabbing the carpet fibers, but it's a great mold release, too.

If you don't believe that, then MeGuire's has a mold release wax that (supposedly) works well, but I've never used it.

Short of those two (I've actually used Johnson's) you could order a mold release from Jamestown Distributors in Rhode Island, but any local auto paint supplier should be able to provide mold release products.

Boat builder paint their molds so they are pretty slick for repeated work ..
Then they rub on a good coat of bee's wax on the intire mold surface and then prceed to lay the fiberglass.

To release they blow compressed air at a corner crack . Your guess is as good as mine on how long to leave the fiberglass to cure before blowing the mold?? My guess is 4 hrs
