done but without file ...printer is not useful
I've only ever seen a diagram with dimensions on it. All replicas I'm aware of are produced from molds flashed from an original Speedster. Some say from one with a collision damaged and repaired right side (front fender?) which is still evident in the final product. Chesil in UK can provide such a fiberglass body. Believe the Chesil has raised head lights over original to meet new European DOT laws. Note - the VW pan has to be cut and shortened 10-11".
Here's a set of molds available. There used to be ones listed in Norway too on SAMBA.

There's also a SOCer in FL with a set of CMC wide body molds can than make you a body too. Cut it in half (at door sills) for shipping and it would fit in a fairly compact crate for shipping.
There are many Engineering firms that have 3-D cameras that can scan anything from a nut to a full factory building with all equipment and piping an convert to 3-D models or 2-D drawings. The companies that I used to deal with doing this 20 years ago are probably no longer in business or I would offer some names. I would call some in your area and see if they can do this and what they would charge to scan a full size replica. No one has done that yet because everyone is using molds for the bodies, not printers.
Dear, I'm glad you've hooked up the problem. What you say is absolutely right; in fact I have who can scan a model and then produce a 3d file.
The fact is that they need a body to scan and I ... I do not have the body For this I look for the file directly.
Otherwise I would have to buy the body and the subframe. At this point .. I would not need to scan the body more to make me produce the file and a mold that ... I would not need anymore

The problem will be to print in something tough enough to survive the temperatures (PLA and ABS will not survive engine temperatures).

So if you plan to start a full business out of it yeah it could be possible but not for a one of print.
