Wow, the new Roadster is finally done and now on a truck leaving the west coast.
Henry did a great job, the car came out better than I hoped, and I can't hardly wait for delivery day.
Here are a few photos.
I will update my registry information when the car is here and I can add some home photos.
Basic info 2110cc engine, 5 speed 901 transmission, garnet red leather, Porsche slate grey carpet, wide fives / four wheel disc brakes, 10 slat wheels, upgraded stereo with subwoofer and sirius radio, etc...

That luggage rack is a work of art. The subframe IM installs for mounting it makes a true workhorse too. Less stress on the glass, easy installation, plus it looks good. You probably already know this Biggs, but NLA and E-bay sellers offer that white rubber strip for the top and bottom rack pads. I recently purchased some and trimmed it to fit my rack.

Your interior shot and other Roadster shots I've seen always make me think... gee a Roadster would have been nice too! I had the pleasure of driving Bill Steele's beautiful Roadster last spring and have to say that it was perfectly comfortable for my 6'2" frame.

The Derrington Steering wheel is a piece of fine Roadster jewelry to go with those leather seats.

Again. Wow!
Robert,
Your Roadster is beautiful! Exterior and interior color choices are different and look great.
I have the same luggage rack on my IM speedster. Originally I thought it was a little pricey, but after seeing the workmanship, it's worth it. The strong mounting bracket makes for easy install and removal.
May the sun always shine on your side of the road.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. Most of you noticed the extra items I added, even the Derrington wheel. It is the real one, I think I had a look a like on my last speedster.

Jim, I will have to check into the pads for the luggage rack, I'm not sure I know exactly where they are located, are they between the mount and the rack, or on top of the rack for the luggage to rest on?

Mike C just gave me his view of this Roadster, I will post it on the site.
Bob M, I love your Speedster. I hope we can get together with a few Okies and Texans this summer. I think Justin would go and one or two from the D/FW area... maybe meet around Waco and hit some two lanes?

Biggs, they fit in the horizontal slots on the left and right and top and bottom of the rack. Dale has a method for cutting these that I copied. I'll send you an E-bay # and also NLA's Part Number.
I've comitted Dale's instructions to memory.... "First you get your Dremel out, and be sure and buy some extra so you can practice cutting the ends like this, and the bottom side ends need to do this so you have to make sure the cut goes like this, and you'll probably have to practice some, cause I screwed it up the first time, but it should look like this! There's a technique to it, but you'll get it down Jim."

Dan, got that! :-) And use NLA, those guys are great!

Would love to meet up with you and others in the Dallas, Ft. Worth area. Waco is perfect. Texas Ranger Hall of Fame is there. I can do research on some back 2 lane roads with nice scenery. The little town of Salado is historic, lots of neat shops and reasonably close to Waco. Let me know as the time get closer.
Bob M
