To beautiful not to share with members of this forum, and possibly someone who might want to duplicate it in fiberglass, this original 1955 example, a particularly early production car, was discovered in a barn in the state of Oregon around 10 years ago and was subsequently completely restored in California by the renowned 356 shop Emory Motorsports.
Built to their usual immaculate standards, according to SCCA records it was sparingly raced doing a couple of West coast events each year, the last being in 2010.
The mechanical specification includes a 1643cc engine with Eskushe heads, Carrillo rods, JE pistons and SX3 camshaft. The car features adjustable suspension and disc brakes all round plus a roll cage and foam-filled fuel cell. The car is currently registered in the UK.
