CMC owned FF when FF was selling Speedsters. Same car. CMC was leveraging sales off FF long history of producing and selling a huge variety of innovative replicas produced from 1964-1969 (Avenger GT, Jamaican, Aztec GT, Valkyrie, Scarab, MiGi, etc). Believe all the CMC cars displayed at airports around the country were labeled CMC. Not sure if building them was outsourced by CMC or were built in their huge "Miami" facility. They weren't in the turnkey Speedster production - more interested in selling incomplete kits with backlogged parts!
