There was a memorial Cruise-In here in Charelston for 9 firemen who died a month ago in the collapse of a furniture store roof. Virtually all local car clubs had some presence. I went with Mike Lempert and met Kevin Haskins (odwagerty). Here are a few of the pictures I took. There are more in my folder, but even so, I only posted a few. There must have been well over 100 Corvettes of various years, along with many street rods, muscle cars, antiques, and two lonely Speedsters.

Looks like a good turnout for a good cause.
That disaster resonated thru the fire fighting community here with great grief as it did nationwide. Many prayers for the families.

Yeah, it's still like an open wound here. It'll take the community a while to get over it. There's talk of making the site some sort of firefighting memorial.
