Hi Dave---Alice and I are also here in Christiansburg---so is Leon Chupp.  Most of the group caravanned from Knoxville TN today and tomorrow we launch at 8:30 in the morning to beat the rain that's on the way.

 

Great dinner this evening at Ruby Tuesday after libations in John & Sara's room.

 

Off to a great start---Alice and I did our first leg ; 600 mile from Hot Springs to Knoxville.  Fun, Fun!   See you tomorrow---maybe you can meet our group for lunch plus quite a few others at Cracker Barrel at exit 14 off I-81?

So here we are back in Christiansburg.  As always, Carlisle, much anticipated for a whole year, was over in a flash.  It was great to see all the folks we knew and make some new friends too.  Many thanks to ECB and Norma, Alan, WB and all those who made the journey worthwhile and great!  See you next year, maybe, I'm still on the fence.  I've done ten of them and, well, we'll see what happens.

John, this event cannot go on without your rain dance !!

Got to SAS and dropped off Nolan's Cab to fix the loose exhaust brackets then  home to Drop off the Red Man and on to Nashville.  What a wonderful weekend!  bTW Tom, it's a "no rain dance" that I do, preferably using a loin cloth or less.  Not a public performance for sure.
