I'm glad everyone made it home safe and sound. Good luck Dusty and the LMS on the rest of your way home and on to Carlisle. Thanks for all your hard work. It was a keeper. I would be the lucky one to have won the badge. Thanks so much David, it's our first one and it looks great. If it's not positioned right, let me know. It's just sitting there until I take the grill off. My A-1 exhaust arrived yesterday, so I am under the car for awhile.
SOCers, Totally jealous of what a funtastic weekend you all had, it is going to be hard to match or better this one, glad to see everyone made it home safely, hope I don't have to work next year?

WOW!! Was that a great road-trip OR WHAT?!!

I will work on the pics and videos we took and try to get an SOC Morro Bay video posted later on this week. Those are some great pics posted by Rick, Troy, Roy and others that really capture the comraderie and fun we had this past weekend. The weather along the coast was incredible. It's also amazing how so many people from diverse backgrounds and location can get along so well and have a great time hanging out!

Thanks to Dusty & Sharon and others involved for all your time & effort in setting this up. I will gladly help with next year's event.

I am looking forward to seeing our East coast SOC contingent at Carlisle in a few weeks and at the National in Colorado later this fall!

Peace - Out!
I had a great time this year.
Weather was perfect as well as the company.
The motel was a little basic but it evened out having that awesome liquor store across the street.
Helluva job, Dusty and Sharon!
Blake and Jen, you two are a great addition to this group.
Fast Eddie, terrific road tour. If the locals complain we'll blame it on the North/South group.
Vince, you sure look cute in that twinkie Ghia........
Gerd, did you get your visor back?

Thanks again for the great weekend.
Thank you Gordon, we are both feeling 100% percent better....
I tried not to let it ruin my weekend, lets just say it hampered my alcohol consumption considerably....Still went thru a bottle of OBAN in a matter of minutes hanging out in the hotel parking lot....
The SOC has a few members who appreciate the good stuff.....

Terry N. sorry to hear you had a problem heading North, my Twinkie purrrrred all the way home....It was good seeing you again....

I have been a member of a number of car clubs over the years, and I don't want to get all sappy, but I gotta say, this group is tighter than a gnats ass sitting on a lemon wedge...

Ahhh, Vince you old softie~I love it. I agree, I have been a member of a few diffrent clubs and have never felt such a tight bond, it is really nice. By the way your pictures are really great, and they are very clear, what kind of a camera did you use?

Glad you and blondy are feeling better! Nothing like the crud.

Well, we finally made it home to Colorado. No problems for the rest of the trip and got home to nice weather. Today, however, we hear that they closed the high mountain pass due to heavy snow! Whew! We just made it. The cars are cleaned and we are getting things in order for our trip to Carlisle. The Lovely Miss Sharon cannot wait.
I am eager to see if they can even begin to have as much fun as we had in Morro. Plans are already being made for next year. I will keep you posted. Here are some pictures as promised ....

Happy Trails,
Dusty and the Lovely Miss Shaaron
Bill,
I was kind of hoping that my Go-cart triumph would just go down in history as the "mysterious cart racer from the west". Now I find I feel like the top gun with everyone warming up their .45 Colt and getting ready for the challenge! OK, I'll warm up my lead foot and try to make the cheering Lovely Miss Sharon proud (or greatly amused laughing at my embarrassing loss). See you soon!

Happy Trails,
Dusty and the dubious Miss Sharon
