Fix a flat vs spare tire.

What do you think? Has anyone had experience with the fix a flat personally? Does it really work?

Yes, it indeed works unless you have a gaping hole in the tire casing. One word of warning, drive the car immeadiatly after filling with the fix a flat unless you want the solution to harden in one spot inside the tire. Driving it spreads the fix it stuff around evenly, no thump-thumps if you do that!

If you want to fix a gaping hole on the road, just buy a tire plug kit. They are available from any auto store for about $7. Very, easy to use and once the plug is in, use the fix a flat to inflate the tire again.
