Flared or Not

Hi there

I am shopping around since a fe wdays only about a new car. Looking at different kind of replicas (AC or SpeedSter)
Have been in touch with Vintage speedsters among others.
They offer their 356 as a flared or classic style body.
My guess is the flared model is a modernised one.
Anyone want to share some thoughts on the subject?

I absolutely agree with Gerd that you should read the post on looking at Speedsters for the first time.

Here is a Classic bodied VS vs a Flared VS for comparison purposes.

Personal taste, but the flared cars versus the original look will (all other things being equal)usually have about a 3-5k better resale.

Welcome to the board. I have of both an AC and a Speedster and I would be happy field any questions that you might have about the 2 cars. For the record, they are VERY, VERY different in terms of their ride and road characteristics.

I am reading the recommended post on getting the first SPeedster.
Then I will do my homework to learn more as obviously most of the replies a newbie need are hidden on the Forum. I need to learn so much.
But most important, I will need to know first how we can get a Speedster registered in France if at all possible !
I will stop posting on this thread as I have posted another one : Speedsters Vs Roadsters. Of course I will check this one in case I can get somebody else opinion...

Thank you Gerd for JPS. I didn't knew them before. They seems to make a great car but no Roadsters...

Thank you Chris (I guess we'll have to talk more) The Speedster Blueprint is very nice and I would love to find the same for a Roadster. Checked on Google and can't find it.
And is it your car crushed under the train?
