FLASH: The Speedsters East host hotel is filled !!

The Speedsters East host hotel - Ramada Limited Carlisle - is filled!

The Rodeway Hotel (about a mile down the road from the Ramada) is available for $99/night, their site is located at showhotel.com/rodeway/1701301/ This is a traveler's hotel with clean rooms with no frills. Other hotels in the Carlisle area can be found by doing a Google search for "hotel Carlisle Pennsylvania".

The Carlisle Import-Kit/Replicar Nationals and the East Coast Speedster Meet are popular events and hotel rooms in the area are going fast. Don't delay, lock-in your reservations today!

Spoke to people today at the Ramada Ltd. and was told there still are some rooms available. I booked my room!

That's a surprise as I was told they were filled. Maybe it was just the Speedster block that was maxed out. What days did you book and what was the rate?

Just spoke with Ramada group sales again to clarify this .
They again stated the hotel is sold out for the weekend. They offered rooms at the Clairion Hotel at $150 The only other hotels available are the Rodeway Inn at $99 per night and the Quality Inn at $120 per night. Hope this helps......

Jerry may have caught a cancellation. As we said before, if anyone is planning to stay overnight don't delay making hotel reservations...this is a popular show and the Speedser Meet is bringing alot of folks into the area. If you are having a tough time making reservations an option might be to get on a waiting list in case there is a cancellation but that's no guarantee.

If anyone is interested, Carlisle also has very reasonable on-site camping, more information is available on their website.

Spoke to Lorri this afternoon and was told there were rooms for NJRC as well as speedsters east. The rate was I believe 112.95 plus tax. Got my confirmation number. Got the room for Fri. and Sat.Number I called was 717 243-8585.

"I finally was able to speak with Lori from the Carlisle Ramada Inn (group sales rep). There was some major confusion at the main group sales center in Colorado as to he rooms available for SpeedsterOwners.com group.

If you have recently called the group sales 800 number, you have received invalid information.

As of today there ARE seven(7)rooms still remaining in the reserved block until the block expires on April 21st...... thirty days prior to the Carlisle event.
