Thanks Angela - It looks great. On the TR you have the advantage of no torsion tube at the front of th engine because you use coil over spring shocks. I notice your drive shafts are at 90 degs to the transmission. I believe you could actually move your engine and transmission back a little and angle the drive shafts if you want more clearance behind the seat. However It obviously works the way you have it and is a good installation. Beck owners I would still like to have the measurement requestd above. Thank you
Hi Ken,
We actually did discuss moving the powertrain rear-ward but I really wanted to keep the axle angulation to a minimum. As far as the placement of the firewall, the car fits ME perfectly, so I see no problems (haha). Steve actually fits into the car, all 6'2, 250 lbs of him, but he would like the seat further back. I have come on a perfect solution to this problem. I bought him an older Porsche Cabrio, wrecked but he can fix anything and a really good 3.2 engine for it. So that is HIS car and the spyder is mine, right? lol

Terry,
Thanks for the edit info, I really needed it!
