I would like to mount a flat 4 banjo steering wheel The 2 adapters that Sierra has sent me are way to large for the splines .Does anyway have any experience with this ?

I did it years ago, Pete and I think it helps to identify what year steering column you have in your Speedster. Also, you can measure the outside diameter of your column splines and count the number of splines around the circle. Somehow I figured it out and did mount a nice Banjo wheel.

Thanks David I believe I have figured it out I have a 17mm 40 spline shaft VW 75 and up to 89

the banjo wheel I had was flimsy so I scooched the frets in a little and all was good. Wish I had one now in my Roadster.

Agree tap down the frets, that will add tension to the wheel bars.
