Here's what I did today while waiting around for the rain to stop. I just did the passenger side. I'll see how it works and if all goes well I'll do the drivers side later.

I was underneath today trying to scrape off all the fiberglass "undercoating". Since my jack stands only go so high I can't really move around to well under there so I'll wait until I can get it on the lift to do the rest. It's obvious that I'll be needing to replace the entire floor of the car next winter, or at the very least do some serious patch work. There is a good amount of rust on the frame head bottom base plate and there is some decay around the pedal assembly. I cleaned that up and fiberglass patched it. That should hold it until I can get the serious work done.

It's always something ain't it.
