Floor mats same for reproductions and real speedsters?

Anyone know if the front floorpan shape is the same on a real speedster as it is on the reproductions. I bought some coco floormats from Sierra Madre and they don't even come close to fitting. I'm thinking that they are for a real speedster??? PS... the quality is extremely poor for the $115 price!

Suspect you are right - I got some for a VW bug and they fit a pan based CMC fine. Back seat ones might be a little over kill. COCOMATS.com has a template for VS and Beck Speedsters (do search here).

completely different shape, as you found out. purchase from cocomat directly. They will create custom mats specific to your vehicle, just send them a template cut from paper.

The bad part is you can't send them back. Anyone who has a real 356 want them for $50. Like I said though, they don't look like they are worth $115.

My brother has a 356A, what color are your mats? Ill ask him.

Rich buy them direct from Coco Mats. Tell them you have a Vintage Speedster. Make sure you get the rubber backed ones.

The mats are black.

Cocomats.com has the pattern for Intermeccanicas also. The tube frame vehicles vs the pre 1980 pan cars are different. Quality is excellent.

Sierra Madre does returns, they just said up front that you can't return mats like these. Just wanted to make that clear. Still have the mats though, if anyone is interested. $50 plus shipping. If you want to see what they look like go to Sierra Madre. I don't think they look like they should cost $115, even though they are brand new, that's why the $50 price. I think they must fit a real 356, I hope!
