Can any of the guys from Florida tell me if it's a hassle to get a car registered in Florida when it's got dual Kads and some other go-fast goodies? Over here every car's exhaust gets analyzed; I don't know if it's due to ignorance but there's no cut off date such as in California (1975).
Shouldn't be a problem Rick, no emmission inspections anymore. I registered a Gazelle and a 550 Spyder as the original VWs they were built on. both had dual carbs. You can also register a kitcar or replica as a Kit/Replica model using Florida Forms HSMV 80001 Application For Certificate of Title For A Replica Motor Vehicle and HSMV 82040 Application For Certificate of Title With/Without Registration. These forms are available for downloading at http://www.hsmv.state.fl.us you may have to shell out some extra cash for bringing a car into Florida that isn't replacing one that was registered in Florida.
