I just found these lights on 356Devotion... http://356devotion.com/ they look pretty reasonable available in clear or yellow..

Have you looked at the ones at Speedway Motors? They have them in clear and amber. May not be exact Hella reproductions, but look really good and decent quality. I bought a pair of the amber ones. $25 each.

It says they handle a 35watt bulb... do you know if they can handle a 50w h3?
It just provides more light... but they could overheat and burn out if they are made for it.

I do not know if 55W bulbs will work. All the documentation that I saw on mine stated 35W.
well you might be able in the future to put in some LED's as some LED's are now being made to exhibit the same beam pattern that is supposing you need brighter lights.
