I wrote in about 9 mos ago about not being able to get my Intermeccanica inspected in the state of Massachusetts. The problem was that the car was registered as a 1996 Replica of a 1958 Porsche. Due to it being built in 1996, it was required to pass emissions. I just got my sticker because the rule is that cars 15 years old or older ( which mine now is ) no longer are required to pass emissions by being plugged into the OBD. This obviously would not work for a new IM. However, I have a great insurance agent who has been following a new law that was passed which would exempt the newer replicas anyway. I was waiting for that law to go into effect which actually just happened, but then he realized that it was exempt anyway. I am fired up and it is great to drive the car without a big "R" sticker. I just wanted to let you all know how I made out. If anyone has any questions about the new law let me know. I can find out the specifics.

Congrats, Chris, MA inspection can be a real pain if you get an inspector who has never seen a replica. I went last week for my sticker and the guy I've been bringing it to had retired. I had to train a new guy, but it all worked out and I'm good for another year as well. Now, I think I will dare to take off the ugly front plate.
