This was the response I got from the guy who handles the fog356 group...

Todd- We definitely do allow replica owners to join, in fact anyone can join even if they do not own a car. The club does restrict replica participation in some events per the rules in this link - all three rules affect replicas: www.356fog.com/rules_for_fog_events.html Purely social events, museum tours etc. have no restrictions. Our club has about 250 members, of which we have only one replica owner member, and he has occasionally attended events.
