Hey Guys -

I know you are big fans of Formula Racing so I put this link up for you. This meet is just down the hill from my house and it looks like Ferrari was the marquee for the Cinqo de Mayo weekend at Cars & Coffee. They had a Ferrari Formula to show that day.

Be sure to check out the other pages on the attached link for other outrageous cars on hand. There's usually 1 or 2 Ferrari Anza's in the area that come to this meet also. Lots of other cool cars.

Jim,thanks a lot my brutha. That Ferrari is not an F1 car. It is a 2 seater prototype that Ferrari made for their customers to race in IMSA in 1993. It is called 333 SP and has a V12 engine (similar to an F1 engine). Also,the same engine was used in the F50.


Great pictures. I wish we had cars like these around here.

BTW, I saw an original 904 last weekend. The owner wants to see some pictures of a replica 904. I will send him some after Carlisle.

I LOVE any car with a prancing horse on it, especially red ones! That is a beautiful car! As Lambros said, I sure wish we could see some of that around here. I had an 430 in my rear view the other day but he took off left at the intersection so I didn't even get a good profile drive by look at it. One of these days I'm gonna just bite the bullet and fly out there to see some friends and go to Cars and Coffee with you. You guys are so lucky to have that!

Goes to show you what I (don't) know about Formula racing. Since you mentioned it I did recall seeing these in the IMSA series. BTW, didn't Panoz also build their IMSA series (?) car that proceeded to kick ass on everyone in that same time frame?

If you ever plan on being on the West Coast (specifically SoCal) give a shout out and we'll arrange to hook up and go to this car meet some Saturday morning (we can also check out the local talent but we'll tell our wives that we're going to see exotic cars) :>)
