Folks, I am going to be relocating from Dallas to Austin and have decided it will be easier to move with just two cars...

so with that said, I am putting up for sale my 2005 Vintage Speedster. It is Speedster Blue and has tan interior and top. It has 2400 miles on it and still looks pretty much new. I haven't done too much to it since I got her except for adding fog lights. The previous owner put on all the badging... including real 356 side trim, not the cheap VW stuff. There is one minor mechanical problem with the car and that is that it pops out of 4th gear. I was planning on getting the tranny rebuilt/replaced, but I just haven't had the time to get it done. I think they just missed something when Vintage did the tranny originally. I tied to get Vintage to work with me on it, but since I am the second owner they didn't seem to want to do too much and I didn't push it. As long as you keep your hand on the shifter, it won't pop out. That's basically why I just haven't spent the time or money to fix it. Other then that, the car runs and drives great! If I get the tranny fixed, I was going to ask $21,000. Since the tranny work will run about 500-1000, I figured I would take $20,000 as is. The car is located in Grapevine, Texas (Dallas) just minutes from DFW... fly in and drive it home. It has a 1915cc motor with dual carbs, a 3:88 tranny and front disc brakes. It has wide five color matched wheels. If you have any questions, please just send me an email and I can send you all the pictures you would like on the car. The pictures attached are from a world of wheels show that I recieved best in show for my class.

p.s. No joy riders, I will be going on any test drives.

Thanks

Thanks, I know it will suck to have to sell her, but that just means that someday... I can get another one! I have moved from Texas to Virgina, and then back again. Each time, I had to sell my toy to finance the move. But, about a year later, I end up getting something new... so I am not too worried that I won't get a new toy a little later. I can't go too long without having a new toy... I can aways sell a kidney or something. I think I still have two of those. ;-)

Thanks for the advice on the Sept 9th event. I might have to check that out.
