I've watched the video at least a dozen times already. My daughter came running in my office to watch too. Gorgeous. Simply gorgeous.

That coupe is a sight to behold and the 2nd gear run in the video is beautiful. An 80 liter tank would run over $100 to fill up here. Between the insurance and the gas, no wonder they are driven so little

The current bid of $350k would just about cover the motor. I'm predicting ~$500k.
What's really driving the price up are the amber Marchal driving lights. We all know what it's like finding bulbs for those things.
And, there's no replacement for displacement. My engine has at least twenty more cc's than that thing. If they approached me properly, I might be talked into doing an outright engine swap, no questions asked.
DON'T DO IT MITCH. The valve adjustments alone'll kill ya.

I'm kinda surprised it isn't a little higher, but there's still time for it to hit my guestimate of $500k.

You're right, I misread that last night. Bid hasn't moved, I think a few don't see the point in bidding it up this far before the close.
It's up to $399,000. Good thing the clock keeps re-setting to 2:00...
$400,000 with less than 5 seconds on the clock and it re-sets...
Ended at $401,500 and the reserve was not met.
Could be we've seen the high water mark for these?
These usually go for around $600 - $700K, I'll bt reserve is at about $550K. Sweet sounding 4-cam but keeping 'er tuned is a rich man's game...

That was my thought. I was thinking in the $750K range, but perhaps Ed is right and we've seen the peak.
That is until the next peak.......
